Five Bay Area stories. Five full sessions. Session fee: waived. Be one of the five — engagement, bridal editorial, family, personal branding or maternity, photographed and delivered like any premium session.

This is The Founding Five: the first five stories that will build this portfolio in the Bay Area. If you're picked, you get the full experience — planning call, styling guidance, a professionally edited private gallery — for a $50 participation fee instead of the regular session price.

No cost to apply. No cost for the video call. You only pay the $50 if you're selected.

The participation fee

Session fee waived.
$50 to reserve.

The $50 Portfolio Participation Fee partially covers planning, local travel, gas, booking administration, gallery preparation and digital storage. It's how a portfolio collaboration stays professional on both sides.

How it works
  • The initial video call is free
  • You pay the $50 only after being selected
  • The fee definitively reserves your date
  • Non-refundable once the session is confirmed
  • One reschedule allowed with 72+ hours notice
  • Participants sign an image-use release — Angie may use the photographs on her website, portfolio, social media, advertising and promotional materials
  • You keep permission to use and share your photos personally
  • Participation subject to selection and availability
  • Travel outside the local area may add a fee, always communicated before booking · location entrance fees or permits not included

How selection works

Apply. Talk. Get selected.

You can't instantly book one of the five sessions — every project goes through a short, personal selection process.

1

Apply

Fill out the application: your story, who's participating, what you want to remember, your ideal location and availability. It takes about 10 minutes and your draft saves automatically.

2

Application review

You'll see "Application received." Angie personally reviews every application. Applying doesn't guarantee acceptance — five spots, chosen for story and portfolio fit.

3

Discovery video call

Shortlisted applicants schedule a free call — 20–30 minutes for portraits, families and maternity; 30–45 for engagements and bridal editorial. You'll talk story, expectations, style, wardrobe, locations, participants, image use and fit.

4

Selection

If your project is selected you'll receive the acceptance email with the $50 payment link, digital contract, model release, date selector, planning questionnaire, wardrobe guide and location details.

5

Session day

Clear instructions, address, meeting point, timing and recommendations — sent ahead so you only have to show up.

6

Gallery delivery

A private gallery with your edited photographs, high-resolution and social-ready downloads, available for a full year — with the option to extend storage or order prints later.
